Village Hall on Accessibility and Inclusion

Join Ma'alot at our first-ever Village Hall on Accessibility and Inclusion to meet and connect with other disabled/neurodivergent/chronically ill members of the Atlanta Jewish community, and collectively imagine what a disability-affirming Jewish community in Atlanta might look and feel like. Whether you are chronically ill, neurodivergent, or identify as disabled (or all 3!), you are welcome to participate in this Village Hall and help shape Ma’alot’s vision for an inclusive community. Parents and caretakers of disabled/neurodivergent/chronically ill children are welcome too.

This gathering will include a facilitated group discussion, and specific time allotted to build community in a relaxed social setting.

Venue: Candler Park, exact location shared with registration. Location is ADA Accessible.

ASL Interpreters will be present, and masking is required when indoors.

Questions? Email Community Manager, Tess Hanson, with additional accessibility questions, needs, or other event concerns.
