Enlighten: A Queer Chanukah Gathering!

Ma’alot is proudly Partnering with SOJOURN for this event. This event is 21+.

Join us for the last queer meet-up of 2024!  On 12/29 from 2-4, we will gather to celebrate Chanukkah and see how we can best light the path forward!

As we look towards an uncertain future, it's more important than ever to deepen our commitment to this community.  Please come to bring your fears, your hopes, and to find radical queer joy.

This will be a space where we will be gathering information on what resources will be needed in the future as well as a time for us to embrace the revolutionary act of queerness.

The history of both the Jewish people and the queer community is one storied with resistance, perseverance, hope, and bringing light to darkness.  As we reflect on Chanukkah and our work ahead, let's have a moment together to reflect and find laughter.

We will be meeting at an outdoor space (with heaters!) off the Beltline in old Fourth Ward (precise location disclosed upon registration). There will be cocktails, mocktails, and light nosh options for purchase.

The event space has stairs and elevator access.  There are no gender neutral bathrooms.  Reminder that all of our events are inclusive, intersectional, and welcoming.
