Maqom Meditation

Find space to breath, meditate and connect with Rabbis Ariel Root Wolpe and Josh Lesser.

Maqom Meditation meets first and third Sundays from 8:00-9:00pm on zoom. Together we explore mindfulness practice through a Jewish lens and prepare for the week ahead.

This is a community led, Jewish meditation group. After you have attended a session you can offer to lead meditation or mindful movement. The format is:

  • Welcome prayer & song

  • Check ins

  • Teaching

  • Meditation (20-30 minutes)

  • Reflections and Share

  • Closing Prayer (spontaneous participant-led)
