The UnYeshiva ~ Digital Learning

The first week of UnYeshiva’s spring courses are here!

The UnYeshiva, a new "digitally driven center for Jewish learning and unlearning,” created by the team behind the Judaism Unbound podcast, is inviting members of the Ma'alot community to join its Spring 2022 classes at a special reduced price of $99 for a 12-week class. The UnYeshiva is offering four classes this semester on topics that include re-imagining Jewish holidays and practices based on a deep understanding of what Jewish texts say and don’t say about them; making personal meaning of the Shmita year; considering possibilities for meaningful “secular” Judaism; and finding Torah just about everywhere other than The Torah.

You can see all the spring classes in one place at this link. Click on any of the classes to see more information. The UnYeshiva normally has a sliding scale of $299-499 for its full-semester 12-week classes, but members of the Ma'alot community can register for only $99. You should just enter $99 in the “other amount” area on the registration page (or, if you prefer to pay in three installments, enter $33 and click on “Recurring”), and after you click on “Submit,” you will be taken to a page where you fill in your name and contact and payment information, and you should select “Ma'alot” from the partner organization drop-down menu.

We are grateful to UnYeshiva for making these classes more accessible to the Ma’alot community.
