Storm Bugs Rejoice! Learning through Play & Literacy

Join author and award-winning educator Andrea Zoppo, fondly known as Ms. Ladybug, for a fun-filled time learning about our pollinator friends and what happens to them and other crawlies during a storm! With her new book Storm Bugs, Ms. Ladybug will guide you through the story with puppets, sound effects, and interactive play. Come find out what happens during a storm, you might be quite surprised. This program is great for families with young children.

After the story, families will celebrate Tu Bishvat, the birthday of the trees, with a variety of activities hosted by Nurture, 18 Doors, Ma'alot, Repair the World, PJ Library and JBaby.

Wylde Center Oakhurst Garden is located in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur at 435 Oakview Road, Decatur, GA 30030. The garden features wide open spaces for children to run around. In addition, there is a pond to spot frogs and chicken to watch as they peck around.
